Lauren Balbas is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience in dermatology. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University in 2014 and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University San Marcos in 2009.
Lauren provides comprehensive care for a wide range of skin concerns, offering the most up-to-date and effective treatment recommendations. She sees both adults and children for medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology visits. Her expertise includes treating acne, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss, skin cancer and atypical nevi. Her cosmetic procedures include neurotoxin injections, chemical peels, IPL, Vbeam, and Fraxel non-ablative laser treatments.
What sets Lauren apart is her warm, compassionate bedside manner and strong commitment to her patients. She takes pride in delivering personalized, high-quality care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Outside of the clinic, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, crafting, hiking, and traveling. She is proud to be part of the California Coastal Dermatology team and is dedicated to serving the community with excellent care.
